We headed to pick him up not knowing if he was still alive or not.
Wormy was barely breathing but he made it to the hospital where his body temperature was 0, his gums were white and his hand was necrotic plus his leg was broken.
With not enough time to think, we had to do the surgery where his necrotic hand had to be amputated and his leg needed to be repaired.
Wormy pulled through and for weeks, he needed round the clock care, he needed a heater 24/7, once he is away from the heat, his body temperature would immediately drop.
The impact of the hit he endured caused him to have no control over his poop and he was suffering from diarrhea all day. He needed to be cleaned every hour so he doesn’t get sores.
